Tree Removal

Removing dead from the tree also ensures that it’s able to grow and heal in the most healthy way possible. Similar trimming methods are also helpful for larger trees as well! We can remove branches that grow towards a house or other structures that cause worry!

On smaller ornamental trees, directing the tree to grow in specific directions can aid in making it easier to grow other things around it, to fill in a certain area of the garden, or to ensure that you get a good yield of fruit. We can also trim branches to help promote growth in a more desirable direction! Even if it’s just to promote the beauty of a tree, we offer it with the foundation of promoting health at the forefront.

Cabling

Sometimes a tree is in need of structural assistance whether it be because of its age or the way in which it’s growing. Cabling is the process of adding a steal cable to the canopy of the tree, connected main leads together so that they are able to help support each other

For example, many Maple trees grow in such an outreaching way that it causes a split to appear in the stump area because of all the weight that the wood is trying to support. In that circumstance, many might become worried and just desire a removal. But another option would be to cable, bolt or brace the tree.

Bolting

Bolting is less common but is where a large steel bolt is drilled into where it appears wood is starting to split away from itself. The bolt is then tightened to add support and strength in that way.

With around 10 years of experience, Austin Powell has worked with trees alongside many very successful and educated arborists. Climbing was at the base of the company from the start because of the need for companies to provide quality tree work without the large impact on the property from the trucks and equipment usually used by other companies. That doesn’t mean that no equipment is used but what is used is with low impact in mind.

Alp’s Tree Care continues to be a forward thinking company making sure to constantly educate homeowners as well as in training workers. We stay up to date with bugs and diseases that plague our specific area and the ways in which to treat them. We also just love trees! It’s our passion and our desire to continue growing our knowledge about them will never stop.
